MintProducts Auctions is a division of Jeff Kierstead Rare Coins LLC. We began holding live Coin & Currency auctions in 2015, but then during the Covid-19 pandemic, made the transition to online only auctions. Now we exclusively hold monthly online Coin and Currency auctions. Our auctions feature hundreds of unreserved lots with bidders numbering in the hundreds too! MPA’s roots go as far back as 1984, when our president Jeff Kierstead ran his first coin auction. Jeff was also a founding partner in another New Hampshire coin auction company from 1993-1998.

Jeff has over 40 years of experience as a full-time coin dealer and has sold over 100 million dollars in coins and currency over the years. His first business, Jeff Kierstead Rare Coins was founded in 1979. For years (decades really) Jeff traveled coast to coast attending all the major coin shows, while his mail-order customers waited with great anticipation for his next rare coin catalog! Jeff continues to travel to several major coin shows and dozens of local shows each year. Being so well-traveled he is well-known by coin dealers and numismatic industry leaders throughout the country and has earned a reputation for being fair and honest. Jeff is a member of many numismatic organizations including the American Numismatic Association (ANA) and the prestigious Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG). His numismatic expertise ranges from U.S. Colonial Coins to U.S. Territorial Gold and everything in between.

Adam is Jeff’s son and has been attending local coin shows with his father since he was in kindergarten. In those early years, Adam would earn tips for cleaning the dealer’s glass showcases or getting them something to drink. With Adam’s hard work at the shows, his tips would often surpass what some of the dealers would earn! In recent years Adam worked for MintProducts.com where he managed inventory and oversaw order fulfillment. Adam became a partner in MintProducts after his father sold that portion of the company in 2017. With the auction business growing, Adam rejoined his father at MintProducts Auctions in 2021. Adam currently oversees the handling of auction lots from their arrival at our office to their shipment after the auction and everything in between.
